Q. Do you think mental attitude is one of the most important aspects of sports training?

With the right mental attitude you can overcome things such as lapses in concentration, pre-performance anxiety, poor motivation, loss of confidence, etc. Is it these kinds of things that make the difference between a good athlete and a great athlete do you think?

A. Mental Attitude is THE most important aspect of all life, let alone higher levels of sports conditioning. You can train your physical self to a certain peak, but without the right mental disposition, you are doomed to simple successes, and not fit for total glory.
